Clackamas County Meals on Wheels is this county’s program for serving homebound adults who
might not otherwise have access to a nutritious daily meal. Meals on Wheels helps link housebound adults to other services
and the world outside their door. The volunteer drivers don't just represent a smiling face and a hot meal but are
a crucial part of this vital program. They are the gatekeepers, the eyes, and the heart and soul. They are often the only
person a homebound person sees on a regular basis. Meals on Wheels can be the primary reason an older or disabled adult can
continue to live independently, with dignity and at homes.
